Spiraea

Spiraea are a lovely shrub selection to add pops of seasonal color to a garden bed. The usually deciduous, upright, mounding shrubs come in many different forms with a variety of leaf and flower colors. Most Spiraea bloom in spring through summer with white or pink blooms. Spiraea do better in the sun but can tolerate light shade. These plants easily grow in a wide variety of soil conditions. Mature height depends on cultivar selection but can range from 3-6 feet tall and wide.
