Butterfly Bush
A wonderful addition to almost any garden, the butterfly bush gets its name from its ability to attract butterflies and hummingbirds in droves. Also called Buddleia, many of the varieties are large, dense bushes featuring long flower spikes that bloom in vibrant hues of pink, orange, red and purple throughout the summer. There are many new, lower growing varieties that can be easier to maintain without an extremely vigorous growth habit. One thing to note, butterfly bushes produce more flowers with full sun exposure and are drought tolerant.
