Maiden Grass (Miscanthus)

These deer-resistant, low-maintenance perennial grasses form in medium to large clumps. They feature fluffy plumes that emerge late summer into fall. Use them as specimen plants, as a beautiful addition to large containers, or planted in mass in the garden.

Quite a few different selections of maiden grass are available, ranging in size from 24 inches up to 60 inches tall. Favorite varieties include ‘Adagio’, ‘Gracillimus’, ‘Little Kitten’, ‘Morning Light’ and ‘Porcupine Grass’.
