Kalanchoe

Kalanchoe is a popular houseplant that is typically available during late winter and spring months. A durable flowering potted plant that requires very little maintenance and is easy to grow in the home or office. It’s desired for its showy flowers and succulent foliage.
Flower colors vary and include red, magenta, pink, orange, yellow and white. As a succulent plant they can be drought tolerant once well-established.

  • Ideal temperatures are 45-65 °F at night and 50-70 °F during the day. Note that cool night temperatures prolong flower life.
  • Full sun (6 or more hours of direct sunlight a day) to  Partial Shade (Direct sunlight only part of the day, 2-6 hours)
  • Allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings as the plant can be damaged by over waterings.
  • Use a well drained potting soil
