Hostas

Hostas are a perennial that blooms from late spring to early summer. Hostas’ leaves add a variety of colors and textures to the shady parts of your yard or woodland garden. While a few varieties can tolerate almost full sun, they are the exception.

Some tiny varieties grow to only six inches in height, while others can grow to three or four feet. The leaves can be solid green, variegated, or edged with frills. The plant also features tubular flowers, which hummingbirds love! Unfortunately, deer are also attracted to this plant as a tasty treat.
